There are two types of media players to choose from, depending on the screen you use:

  • Internal media player (PLAYin): This is an integrated solution found in some modern screen like Samsungs digital signage screens. The media player is built directly into the screen and can easily use PLAYipp’s PLAYin software to manage and display content.
  • External media player (PLAYport HD): For screens without a built-in media player, PLAYport HD is the solution. It’s a small, standalone device that connects to the screen via HDMI. It works with any screen or monitor with an HDMI input and supports full HD resolution (1920x1080px).
